ABOUT

Mike Verge is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose music echoes Tom Petty, John Mayer, the Black Crowes, and the Jayhawks. A Berklee College of Music graduate from Boston, he has performed from Maine to the Caribbean, in venues ranging from coffee shops to arenas.

In 2007, Mike wrote Let’s Go Red Sox, which became a Fenway Park staple and was featured on FOX during the team’s World Series run. In later years, Mike was also commissioned to write a song for the opening and dedication of The Garden of Peace, a memorial for homicide victims in downtown Boston. Mike wrote and recorded “The Garden”, and performed it live at the ceremony with a 35-voice gospel choir.

His holiday song Let It Be XMAS earned rave reviews, including a live performance on Fox 25 and at the Boston Common Tree Lighting. As a songwriter, he has contributed to independent films, including This Thing of Ours, with producer Jack Douglas, legendary producer to John Lennon and Aerosmith.

Mike has shared the stage with major acts like Hootie & the Blowfish, Levon Helm, Dave Davies, Livingston Taylor, Buck Cherry, and Cheap Trick.
